For those not in the know, Manticore Meme Monday is kind of a holiday for Agnvs Dei Studios. From our earliest days, we’ve loved mythology, and one of our oldest gripes with modern gaming is the popularized depiction of the Manticore creature with wings, when the source material never mentioned it having such. The only “historical” depiction of a flying manticore was ilked to life by misinterpretations of Gustave Dore’s illustration of Dante Alighieri’s description of the Geryon demon within his Divine Comedy. Manticore Meme Monday was one of our first memes, and by God, it will be our last.
